What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Possess access control/badge experience, preferred.
- Possess alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
