Security Officer Part Time Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
- Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and assisting with de-escalation when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
