Security Officer Visitor Reception

As a Security Officer Visitor Reception in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a busy retail location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations through clear communication and outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
- Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet guests, verify credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
- Support a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directions and information, and complete required reports and logs accurately.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
