Security Officer - Distribution Screener

As a Security Officer - Distribution Screener in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors regarding security-related procedures and requirements.
• Document observations and report incidents or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related issues at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
