Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset while helping create a welcoming environment through routine patrols and responsive support.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor for unusual activity, property concerns, and/or unauthorized persons to help support community rules and report observations to management and/or public emergency responders when appropriate.
- Assist with access control activities such as observing entry points, verifying visitor information when required, and communicating with residents, staff, and/or supervisors regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
