As a Security Guard - Armed Facility in Chippewa Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a leading food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a positive atmosphere. This is an unarmed post, but requires an armed guard card/license. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age

Armed Guard License (pre-employment) required

Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience will be an acceptable substitution for pre-employment Armed Guard License

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage location to help to deter prohibited items or activities.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and client requirements.
• Remain alert to changing conditions within the location and adapt security-related procedures as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by state and/or local law.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
