As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats.
• Work closely with site management and law enforcement as needed, documenting and reporting all incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Remain alert and observant during all patrols and while stationed at designated posts, providing a visible security-related presence throughout the location.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.
• Operate security-related equipment, such as radios and surveillance systems, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
