As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct visible patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, where your presence can help to deter incidents while supporting daily operations. - Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with controlling entry and exit activity in accordance with site-specific post orders and financial institution protocols.
- Support cash handling and other high-value operations with a visible armed presence, heightened awareness, and timely communication with local leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
