Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engaging in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas at the location, being alert to potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with on-site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents.
• Handle access control procedures and verify authorized personnel as required for the location.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned arms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
