Security Officer Access Verification Driver

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas through consistent screening and documentation practices.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, report concerns, and support site security-related operations.
- Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic control at designated gates and checkpoints, including directing arrivals, verifying delivery information, and following post orders and/or site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
