Security Guard Foot / Driving Patrol Job in City of Industry, California

As a Security Guard Foot / Driving Patrol in City Of Industry, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and help to deter unauthorized activity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
