Security Officer Access Control Job in Clarksburg, West Virginia

As a Security Officer Patrol in Clarksburg, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and maintain a visible presence. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. - 21+ Years of Age
- 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree

Pay Rate: $20.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office, billing operations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate observations and incidents promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or emergency responders as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
