Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and interact with team members and visitors. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises, following site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activities and report irregularities.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as necessary to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
