As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Support in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual circumstances.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding people to designated areas and coordinating with emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and offer reassurance to those on site.
• Support site staff and visitors by answering questions and providing directions or assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
