Security Officer Patrol Driver Role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support access control and other security-related activities. This is a driving post. You will deliver great customer service, communicate with professionalism, and work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors while following site protocols for deliveries, restricted areas, and visitor processing.
- Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, medical situations, and other service-related issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
