Security Officer - Hotel Patrol

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Driver in Cle Elum, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling the grounds of a premier hotel and resort location. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests, while your strong communication and customer service skills help address concerns and promote a positive experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Assist guests, visitors, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
• Document and report incidents or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence throughout the property.
• Work closely with hotel or resort management and other staff to support a welcoming and secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• You should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
