Security Officer Full Time Patrol Compliance Job in Clearwater, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Compliance in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, dock doors, employee entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
