What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and security-related procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or the appropriate site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of required vaccinations for hospital site access is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
