Security Officer Access Control

As a Security Officer Access Control in Cleveland, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal in a retail location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security-related protocols that help to deter incidents. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, respond to access concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access, verify credentials when required, and/or document visitor and delivery activity.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, management, and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, exterior entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing customer and employee activity, reporting policy violations, and/or completing required logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
