Security Officer Hospital Patrol Team

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Team in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support patients, visitors, and staff in a people-first environment where Allied Universal values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, patient and visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, report observations, and communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders regarding security-related matters as needed.
- Support a professional environment by documenting incidents, assisting with direction and information requests, and following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- This hospital location requires vaccinations.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
