Security Officer - Mornings - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mornings - Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts regarding incidents and security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
