Security Professional - Patrol Officer

As a Security Professional - Patrol Officer in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your presence contributes to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, attentive, and dedicated to building a positive experience for everyone at the site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the food and beverage production environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, including areas such as production floors, storage facilities, and receiving docks, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or unauthorized access within the location, reporting observations according to established protocols.
• Assist with controlling entry and exit points, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by documenting incidents and maintaining clear logs of patrols and observations.
• Communicate with team members and site management to relay important information and updates regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
