Security Officer Part Time Patrol Route

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support residents and guests through strong communication and customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unusual behavior and/or maintenance-related issues, and report concerns to property management and/or appropriate contacts.
- Support a professional residential location by helping to deter unauthorized activity, addressing routine questions, and communicating clearly with residents, visitors, and/or local responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
