Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol

As a Security Officer Unamed Vehicle Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Security Officers support a government location through mobile and foot patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service and communication. This unarmed role is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the chance to respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. - Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry permissions in accordance with site procedures, helping to support authorized access and/or visitor processing.
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or unusual conditions, and follow post orders and communication protocols while working in varied environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
