Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an armed Access Control Officer, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This role combines customer service with visible security-related presence, routine site activity, and clear communication, all while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Control access at entry points by checking credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations through attentive observation of people, vehicles, and restricted areas within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned access points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter, as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
