As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires operating a vehicle on site, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols and collaborating with on-site personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
