As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Healthcare Facility in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills foster positive interactions within the community. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help control access and observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and patients in a professional manner to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Report and document incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help deter potential security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
