Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver Job in Columbus, Ohio

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support critical operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach through teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center campus, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processes in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
