Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Management Job in Columbus, Ohio

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Management in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, credentials, and authorization; and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
- Control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures and promptly report access concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
