Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Response Patrol Job in Columbus, Ohio

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Response Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, office spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
