Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced manufacturing and technology location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, loading and shipping zones, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to confirm that only authorized employees, contractors, and visitors enter restricted areas, following site protocols for credentials, visitor processing, and/or deliveries.
- Support security-related operations at a manufacturing, industrial, and technology-focused location by observing for operational disruptions, damaged doors or gates, and/or other conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
