Security Officer Part Time

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter based on the location's needs.
- Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or customer issues, and report observations according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support opening and closing activities, help with crowd and/or line management during busy periods, and document incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
