Security Officer Access Monitor
As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Cooleemee, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging activities, and security-related policies at a retail location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or permissions for entry, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify security-related concerns, and report conditions that need attention.
- Support opening and closing procedures, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and help to maintain an orderly environment for shoppers and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
