As a Security Officer - Unarmed CRE Patrols in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating with tenants and visitors to create a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while providing assistance or information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal management by completing required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
