Security Officer Dispatch / Driver Job in Corona, California

As a Security Officer Dispatch / Driver in Corona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources to help maintain an orderly environment. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while supporting security-related operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to transportation agency personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor communications systems, receive incoming calls and radio traffic, document requests for assistance, and dispatch appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant information to supervisors, emergency responders, and/or designated agency contacts.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while promptly escalating unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transportation facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations as directed; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
