Security Officer Badge Verification

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth access control operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and document access activity to help support security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Communicate with employees, contractors, and visitors regarding post instructions, restricted areas, and required check-in and/or check-out procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
