Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Job in Corpus Christi, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
