Security Officer TWIC Screening

As a Security Officer TWIC Screening in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site access requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access irregularities, and/or conditions that could require a security-related response.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, following key and badge control procedures, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
