Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver Full-Time in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a utilities environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, assisting with access points, and providing exceptional customer service. Your presence and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting a secure environment for all. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at a utilities location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and employees with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
