As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-control activity, incidents, and shift-related information.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
