As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver Clearance Required in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with established protocols, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or collect access badges as directed.
- Monitor access points, alarms, and entry activity; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to access-control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
