Armed Security Officer Full Time Multiple Shifts Job in Culpeper, Virginia

As a Security Officer Armed Healthcare Patrol Driver Full Time in CULPEPER, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a commercial real estate location supporting crisis intervention and healthcare-related operations. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and provide customer-focused service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a crisis intervention setting.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral health crises, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by policy.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas while maintaining a respectful, trauma-informed presence with persons receiving services.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, unusual conditions, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
