What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including making preliminary observations and documenting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report discrepancies involving sensitive materials, equipment, or controlled areas.
- Support Allied Universal protocols by communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, while maintaining detailed incident and activity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
