Security Officer Patrol Cyclist

As a Security Officer Patrol Cyclist in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Officer in a public-facing municipal location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, provide directions, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues.
- Prepare clear and timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and pass-down notes to help support awareness of site conditions and ongoing security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to ride a bike is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
