As a Security Professional - Front Desk Telecom Sector in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact for guests, visitors, and employees. Your focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, managing access control, and assisting with security-related inquiries to help create a welcoming atmosphere. By maintaining a visible presence and utilizing technology, you will help to deter incidents and foster a positive environment. What You'll Do:

  • Welcome and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Monitor access control systems, verify identification and credentials, and maintain visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate important information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Perform security-related administrative tasks, such as logging incidents and preparing reports as required by the location.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence at the front desk, serving as the first point of contact for security-related concerns.
  • Follow emergency response procedures and assist with evacuation or lockdown protocols if necessary.
  • Support Allied Universal and client requirements by staying informed about site-specific updates, technology, and procedures relevant to a tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
