Armed Security Officer Patrol Associate

As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Associate in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report policy violations, hazards, or suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following weapon handling protocols, completing required reports, and assisting with investigations when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
