What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the designated government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and activities during shift, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Operate assigned security-related equipment and communicate with team members or law enforcement when necessary.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or hold a college degree.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if applying for positions in Texas.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
