As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Enrollment in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the retail location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, receiving areas, sales floor access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain accurate access-related records and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
