As a Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will help monitor access, observe activity, and support security-related protocols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, verify credentials and authorizations, and report discrepancies according to site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Complete required logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and support security-related operations with clear communication and professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
