As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols and monitor assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive engagement will contribute to a secure environment for all who utilize the facility. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, as you will primarily be responsible for patrolling by vehicle. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for transportation-related operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, adapting to the specific working environments and conditions of the location.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the public, staff, and/or visitors while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
